Install Windows in Android Mobiles Complete setups.

It is possible to install Windows on an Android device.

Installing Windows XP/7/8/8.1/10 on an android tablet or phone is simple if your android device runs on Android KitKat, Lollipop or even Android Marshmallow.

Requirements:

  • Android Phone or tablet PC or Laptop.
  • Change My Software. (Download from http://ow.ly/xTBl309o8fd)
  •  Mcent free recharging app for the PC
  •  Xender file transferring app for your PC

Step 1: From your Android device go to Settings -> Developer options -> Turn on USB debugging. If you didn't find it, go to 'About Phone', head on to 'Build Number', tap on it continuously till you see a message saying 'You are now a developer'.

Step 2: Now download the 'Change my Software' from the link mentioned above.

Step 3: Once downloaded, connect the device to your PC, and launch 'Change My Software'.

Step 4: Now, select Android -> Windows (8/8.1/7/XP) to install the windows on your Android device.

Step 5: Click continue and choose a language if asked.

Step 6: Once you select the language, the windows driver download will automatically start. When it is completed, click on the “Install” button.

Step 7: You will get an option 'Remove Android'. If you want to dual boot it, you can ignore the message, if not tap on the option there itself.

Step 8: Wait till the process gets done on your device. If the files have been installed, the device will automatically reboot.

If you want to go back to using Android on your device, you can do it by using the 'Change My Software' option on the main menu. You can connect the device to your PC and select the 'Restore to original condition.' option.

You can run Windows 11 on your phone thanks to Android 13

A developer has taken advantage of Android 13's improved virtualization support in a big way.
  • A developer has managed to get Windows 11 Arm running in a virtual machine on their Pixel 6.
  • This is reportedly possible due to Android 13’s improved support for virtualization.

At first sight, Android 13 doesn't appear to be a significant change; it only includes a secure photo picker, customised icons, and a new Wi-Fi authorization. Yet, it turns out that the update enables users to use virtual machines to run alternative operating systems, including Windows 11, on their devices (VM).

Danny Lin, an Android web and app developer who uses the name kdrag0n on Twitter, has demonstrated Windows 11 Arm running in a virtual machine on a Google Pixel 6. The Android 13 DP1 update was in fact installed on the phone. Check out the tweet below for screenshots.

Lin continues that despite the fact that hardware GPU acceleration is not available, Windows 11 was "really usable." He even published a video of Doom operating on the Windows 11 VM. Check out that information below.

The developer demonstrated many Linux distributions booting up on the Pixel 6 in addition to Windows 11 running on the smartphone.

How is it therefore possible? Mishaal Rahman, editor of Esper and a former executive editor of XDA-Developers, explains that Android 13 on the Pixel 6 supports a new virtualization framework. The long and the short of it is that Google is working hard to develop a better virtualization architecture that should work across a variety of Android devices. His reasoning is explained in an extended blog post here.

It’s not the first time we see Windows 11 Arm running on Android phones either. A community called the Renegade Project previously ported Microsoft’s Windows 10 Arm and Windows 11 Arm to Snapdragon 845 devices, for one. But this latest development is still very cool to see, and we hope the virtual machine route is more accessible and performant down the line.
